A Bird Guard from the Committee Against Bird Slaughter holds a wild caught Hawfinch (Coccothraustes coccothraustes), confiscated by police from an illegal trapping site in Malta. Every year thousands of birds are illegally caught during their annual migration between Europe and Africa
